Safe Harbor is able to take on smaller cases with Indexed I/O, allowing for more cases to be handled at a time. They have seen their price per GB go down to process, host, and produce data with Indexed I/O.

Prior to using Indexed I/O, Waterfall Economidis manually reviewed electronic documents and extracted preliminary metadata from email. They also used an outside service that provided a load file for their database. Waterfall Economidis was looking for an eDiscovery solution to solve their major pain points of time, efficiency, and accuracy.

Before Wegman Hessler began using Indexed I/O, they were using a large eDiscovery vendor for projects in excess of 10GB and eDiscovery Point for small scale eDiscovery projects that were handled in-house.  With the large eDiscovery vendor, the firm was charged fees for data ingestion, processing, publication of data for review and production, as well as fees for the work performed by a dedicated project manager.
